In the desert, you may catch a glimpse of a wild animal, and even get one on camera, but capturing the animal’s essence takes real creative skill. Join Devon Meyer to learn to depict the attitudes, postures and textures of desert animals. This creative class will guide students of all skill levels to closely observe reptiles and in turn create beautiful illustrations inspired by these animals of the desert.
Please provide your own art materials. Recommended art materials (Substitute as needed):

As an artist, Devon is constantly inspired by nature. The elaborate patterns and gorgeous colors seen in plants, birds or flowers are reflected in the work she does. Watercolor is her favorite medium but she also works in oil, charcoal, pen and ink and colored pencil.
