Brush up on some fun, basic drawing skills while celebrating Sonoran Desert furry wonders, including ocelets, javelina, jackrabbits, and coyotes. We’ll explore drawing techniques that bring added interest to our drawings, including using weighted lines and value for added contrast.
Please provide your own art materials. Recommended art supplies:
-Drawing paper
-2B graphite pencil
-Kneaded eraser (or eraser type that you like)
Saraiya Kanning is a Tucson artist with a passion for animal subjects. She works across multiple mediums, including ink, watercolor, and silk painting. Saraiya’s art is often characterized by bold, vibrant colors and stylized mark-making. When teaching, she seeks to make art enjoyable and accessible to all.
No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund.
