Blue Morpho butterfly is found south and central America and this one in particular is one of thirty species. Another fact about this gorgeous butterfly is due to their characteristic color blue is considered valuable among collectors and was widely hunted in the 20th century.
In this class, you will learn how to make a beautiful Blue Morpho butterfly with crepe paper, acrylic paints and glue. You will learn how to cut butterfly wings patterns with crepe paper and use acrylic paint to design the patterns. Finally, you will paint a creative abstract background on a wood frame so you can glue your butterfly when it is finished. This class is two hours and thirty minutes and you can bring snacks and a drink if you wish.
